Regulatory Manager
(Food and Nutrition/Food Supplement)
The head of regulatory team will lead the regulatory specialists in collecting, analyzing and structuring the regulatory data across APAC region with our compliance cloud intelligent tool, and providing the regulatory consulting service across label assessment, market entry analysis, product compliance assessment, etc. for our clients.
Major areas of responsibilities:
- Lead the regulatory specialists in regulatory data collection, review and approval processes.
- Responsible for providing guidance on reviewing, interpreting, and evaluating food products and labels to ensure compliance with food regulations.
- Provide regulatory guidance and be well versed in compliance-related questions regarding customer and internal inquiries.
- Lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of our data and regulatory consulting service.
- Provides subject matter expertise to all customers on regulations, labeling, and special agencies such as Kosher, Organic, and Non-GMO certification.
- Provide guidance on formulation development to ensure food safety and regulatory requirements are met.
- Provide guidance to build knowledge garden across different food categories.
- Lead partnerships with external expertise, government and associations.
- Provides leadership in coaching, education, and development of regulatory specialists. Responsible for performance management process and KPI deliverables.
Competencies required:
- Prior experience in Regulatory leadership role required.
- Minimum 2 years people management experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience on Food Regulations.
- Highly motivated and creative thinking.
- Good command in both English and Chinese.
Education Expertise:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related discipline with 5+ years of Food Industry experience.
Regulatory Affairs Specialist
(Food Legislation)
As a Regulatory Affair Specialist you’ll analyze, collect and maintain up-to-date regulatory in Food legislation area. Also, you’ll provide proactive internal support to the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs group and the Selerant Engineering team on matters related to the structure, integration and use of the data, for search and compliance evaluation in Selerant software and applications. You’ll provide both internal expertise for the development and improvement of regulatory compliance solutions and customer’s support in their implementation and to analyze current usability and functional issues in the applications and provide suggestions and solutions to improve the user’s perception of the software/applications.
Part of your job will be to maintain an awareness of the global regulatory environment and pro-actively provide advice on trends and business impacts and to maintain relations with regulatory bodies and industry associations.
Major areas of responsibilities:
- Complete assigned activities in a reliable, accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure the completion of assigned tasks as per the quality management policy of the company.
- Ensure accurate understanding of the local legislative framework for the legislations in scope.
- Ensure data collection, validation and monitoring.
- Provide local regulatory news for newsletter and marketing initiatives.
- Establish and maintain direct relationship with suppliers (consultants).
- Participate to external events to increase networking.
- Maintain direct relationship with assigned customer(s) for regulatory issues.
- Understand the status of competitor regulatory products to promote competitive positioning of the products and identify opportunities for growth.
- Achieve alignment by working closely with the Product Manager supporting budget control and definition.
- Promote market awareness about Selerant solutions and services presenting at conferences and shows.
- The resources report directly to RSA Manager.
Competencies required:
- 2+ Previous experience, even for a short period, in industry or industrial association preferable food industries or food associations.
- Fluent English language knowledge is a must.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and self-management skills.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite. Database concept knowledge would be an asset.
- Proactive approach and ability to search for information is required.
Education Expertise:
- Scientific background is necessary, degree in food science is preferable.
Senior Software Developer
As a SELERANT Senior Software Developer, you’ll use the latest tools and technologies available to deliver state-of-the-art software. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that company software components are expertly designed, tested, debugged, verified, and ready for integration into ours best-of-breed solutions for our clients improving their business outcomes in the global marketplace.
Major areas of responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the functionalities of the Selerant products.
- Understand new product requirements and translate them into design.
- Obtain and maintain deep understanding of Selerant’s suite components in order to contribute to technical decisions including roadmap.
- Act as a technical mentor for less experienced team members.
- Work with Product Area Architect as a contributor to overall architecture and technology.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction and improved cooperation with Selerant Support team.
- Employ Agile Development practices.
Competencies Required:
- 3+ year experience in .NET development.
- Very good knowledge of web development including C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, Web service.
- Good experience in .NET 4.0+, such as ASP.NET MVC.
- Familiar with Visual Studio.
- Good experience in source control tool like TFS.
- Good experience with SQL, PL-SQL (Oracle) T-SQL (Microsoft SQL).
- Good experience with ERP or PSI systems is a plus.
Education Expertise:
- BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar discipline.
- Good command in both Chinese and English.
Project Manager – Professional Service
As a SELERANT Project Manager – Professional Services within the Professional Services Department, you will be responsible for the innovative business and functional requirements lifecycle, including the requirements collection from various inputs, the business and functional requirements definition and design, the requirements alignment and harmonization, their prioritization based on the product vision, and the development monitoring through the Agile methodology.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the business case definition for new innovation proposals.
- Work with the Product Owner and others to clearly understand and document the customer requirements, and associated business processes and behaviors.
- Refine and document detailed user requirements and provide clarity for the Development and QA functions.
- Working with Project teams to enforce best practice implementations and optimizing core product reuse. Specifically, refining requirements with Professional Services team members (and end customers where appropriate) to provide functional clarity and relevance.
- Validate the product in the development phases following the agile methodology.
- Support the QA testing processes effort, including development of user acceptance criteria.
- Support training efforts for Services, Sales and Marketing departments.
- Develop and provide PLM solution expertise.
Core Competencies:
- Demonstrated outstanding ability in English written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills.
- Self-starter with leadership skills in order to take charge of or facilitate requirement-gathering sessions.
- Quick learner on new products, systems, applications and technologies.
- Able to work well with both internal and external clients, including the ability to proactively participate in user group workshops.

- Willing to travel to customer premises in the requirements gathering phase.

Education Expertise:
- 3years+ experience in preparing functional requirements, working with use cases, business process modeling, and preparing use-case or sequence diagrams.
- BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar discipline.
- General knowledge of the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of and experience in the use software design and modelling tools (e.g. UML etc.).
